Liz has worked as a fundraising professional for nearly thirty years, including nine years at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor. Currently, Liz’s primary responsibility is to garner support for the College of Earth, Life, and Health Sciences, including social work, communication sciences and disorders, earth and climate sciences, economics, biology and ecology, molecular and biomedical sciences, marine sciences, ecology and environmental sciences, and wildlife, in addition to forestry and agriculture. Liz also works with donors interested in UMaine’s research farms, e.g., Witter, and associated gardens like the Littlefield Garden or the Hyland Arboretum. Liz did her undergraduate work at the University of Virginia and holds a Master’s of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School. Liz lives on Mt. Desert Island with her husband.
