Chris Keating ’79

Chris Keating ’79  played for seven years in the National Football League, spending six years with the Buffalo Bills, and one with the Washington Redskins. Chris utilized his University of Maine degree in Business Administration to become registered as a stockbroker, and worked during his last three off-seasons from football. Upon retirement, Chris earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1991. Combining his experience and education allowed Chris to transition into the investment management industry, where he continues to earn a living today. Chris lives in Milton, Massachusetts with his wife Nancy ’80. The Keating’s have four children, two of whom are UMaine graduates.
