Gavin Higgins is a native of Lincoln, ME., and is a Business Marketing major and Graphic Design minor at the University of Maine. This is his fourth year at the University, and he hopes to earn his degree this spring. After graduation, Gavin is would like to obtain a job that can continue into a career, and eventually further his knowledge of business.
He is currently paying for his education through loans, work study and other employment opportunities.
“I would like a career that involves advertising and logo design or an upper level management position with a successful corporation. I would then like to further my education and earn my Master’s degree in Business Administration. Ultimately, my long-term goal is to work as the Director of Athletics at a Division I college. My grandfather always told me; “Give and you shall receive.” I learned a lot from him and he helped shape me into the man I am today.”
