This is an example of a Foundation fund at work. The Alan Miller Fund for Excellence in Communication and Journalism is being used to help sponsor Pulitzer Week. This effort allows the Department of Communication and Journalism to increase the number of visiting journalists and add more public outreach and community engagement to their program.
