University of Maine Phonathon
The UMaine phonathon is an essential element of the Annual Fund. Every year, University of Maine students reach out to alumni and friends, sharing news of UMaine and requesting financial support. Our students represent many different majors and areas of interest but share one element in common: all love UMaine and are committed to helping to raise private support to ensure future excellence.
Some donors choose to give where the need is greatest at UMaine; others choose to designate their gift for a specific college, department, team, performing arts ensemble, or another area that is meaningful to them.
You can make a gift with a credit card when our students call, or you are welcome to make a pledge for later payment by check or credit card. Every gift matters and makes a difference!
Why does the UMaine Foundation phonathon call?
Phonathon provides an opportunity for the University of Maine Foundation to communicate personally with UMaine’s alumni and friends. Our student callers provide a window to current campus life and love speaking with everyone in an effort to fundraise, thank our donors, keep up-to-date contact information, and to connect with our donors over the College of Our Hearts Always!
