The Foundation is You

It is understandable why the public tends to hold great philanthropists in awe for the sums they bestow upon the charities and foundations. But the fact is, everyone is welcome to contribute. Even if the individual sum is modest, it is the sum total that matters.

This is certainly true at the University of Maine Foundation. The Foundation is each of us, alumni, students and friends alike, sharing a belief in the value of a University of Maine education. Each gift is significant, each donor essential to our mission, since the end result is that deserving students have access to an outstanding education.

Everything you give makes a difference. The very act of giving creates an example and sets a tradition that today’s students can follow.
